I didn't have to cut off too much to start over. A few pump brackets and the linkage.
Got some 2"x6"x3/16" tubing for the main rails. Started cutting the pockets for the bogie wheels.
The main motor mount started as a 6"x6"x2" block of steel. Welded it to the main rail.
Final thickness needed to be around 1.45"
The motor has two pilot diameters. Started by using a large annular cutter to start the hole.
Then lots of boring.
Finish hole.
Holes drilled and tapped.
Fit real nice.
